These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) and Direct2Vet Pty Ltd (“Direct2Vet”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By installing, accessing, or using the Direct2Vet Chrome browser extension (“Extension”) or the Direct2Vet web platform at app.direct2vet.com.au (“Platform”), collectively referred to as the “Service”, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation (such as a veterinary clinic, insurance provider, or supplier), you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install the Extension or use the Platform.
Direct2Vet provides a secure, browser-based communication and transaction platform for the veterinary ecosystem. The Service acts as an intermediary communication layer, enabling data capture, normalisation, and secure transmission between veterinary clinics and authorised third-party providers including, but not limited to, pet insurance companies, pharmaceutical and equipment suppliers, utility providers, marketing partners, and loyalty program operators.

The Service is intended for use by veterinary professionals, clinic staff, practice managers, insurance provider staff, supplier representatives, and other authorised business users within the veterinary ecosystem. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.
To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose within the veterinary ecosystem. You must not:
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at [https://direct2vet.com.au/privacy-policy/]. You acknowledge that the Extension captures data from your browser screen on authorised domains and transmits it securely through our infrastructure to authorised providers. You represent that you have the necessary authority and consent to capture and transmit the data processed through the Service.
The Service, including the Extension, Platform, all software, designs, text, graphics, interfaces, and underlying technology, is owned by Direct2Vet Pty Ltd and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, service marks, logos, or trade names. You retain ownership of any data you input into the Service, subject to the licences granted in these Terms for us to provide the Service.
The Service facilitates communication and transactions with third-party providers (insurance companies, suppliers, utilities, etc.). Direct2Vet is not a party to the underlying transactions between you and these providers. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or performance of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services through Direct2Vet is subject to those providers’ own terms and conditions.
Certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription or transaction fees. All fees are stated in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change our fees upon 30 days’ prior written notice. Failure to pay applicable fees may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Service.
We aim to provide 99.9% uptime for the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance where possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Direct2Vet’s total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Direct2Vet is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Australian Consumer Law, including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Direct2Vet, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the data captured or transmitted through the Service will be completely accurate, timely, or error-free. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of data before relying on it for clinical, financial, or business decisions.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or through the account settings in the Platform. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or legitimate business purposes, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia. Before commencing legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiation for a period of at least thirty (30) days.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least thirty (30) days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with any changes, you must discontinue use of the Service before the changes take effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Direct2Vet with respect to the Service.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment
You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or internet infrastructure failures.
